A learning community in Tucson, AZ serving grades 3-8 beginning Fall 2025!
We are a supportive learning community located on Tucson’s Eastside that helps seekers in grades 3-8 discover their own love for learning while promoting a Growth Mindset.
We work closely with families and the seeker to create a learning plan that provides individualized attention based on the ways they learn best. Our students work at their own pace, driven by their own interests, allowing them to excel without the pressures or limitations of the traditional classroom.

At A Mind of Magic and Reason (AMOMAR), we’ve reimagined education outside the constraints of the traditional school system. Instead of spending weeks preparing for standardized tests, we devote that time to meaningful discussions, hands-on collaboration, and real-world application.
At our core is a Growth Mindset, where mistakes aren’t failures—they’re the best opportunities to learn. Our fully secular, multi-age learning environment encourages curiosity and self-direction. Seekers (students) have the opportunity to lead lessons in areas they are passionate about, while Sages (educators) provide guidance, support, and inspiration.
We bring learning to life by exploring the world around us, integrating weekly real-world applications, and tailoring individualized learning plans to meet each child’s unique needs. Our community connections run deep, with regular library visits and guest Sages offering enrichment in art, music, physical education, games, and technology.
At AMOMAR, learning isn’t about checking boxes—it’s about developing a lifelong love of discovery, confidence in one’s abilities, and pride in meaningful work.

When small groups of mixed ages and abilities work together, they build strong, meaningful relationships with sages and fellow seekers.
Affordable
It is important that we are accessible to the families that need us, not just those that can afford us. We are an approved ESA vendor, so families can apply for and use ESA funds to pay our entire tuition.
