Admissions Process

At A Mind of Magic and Reason, we understand that our unique learning environment won’t be the right fit for every child and family. Our admissions process is designed to ensure a strong mutual fit, creating a foundation for a successful educational experience.

  1. Initial Inquiry & Phone Call
The process begins with a brief phone call where we provide an overview of our learning center and answer any initial questions.

  2. Family Interview
If both parties feel aligned, we’ll schedule a two-way family interview. This conversation allows us to ask and answer questions, ensuring that our educational approach matches your family’s expectations and needs.

  3. Seeker Candidate Interview
Next, we invite the prospective Seeker and their primary guardians for an in-person or virtual meeting. This is an opportunity for us to connect with your child, understand their interests, and begin fostering a relationship.

  4. Enrollment Decision & Deposit
After these meetings, we’ll make a final decision together. If all parties agree to move forward, a $250 non-refundable deposit is required to secure enrollment. This deposit will be applied as a credit toward curriculum fees.

  5. Tuition & Payment Timeline

    • Invoices for the first session (beginning August 25, 2025) will be sent in June.

    • Payment for Session 1 is due by August 1, 2025.

    • If using ESA funds, Quarter 1 funds should be loaded into ClassWallet by July 31, 2025 at the latest.

  6. Onboarding & Preparation
Once enrolled, we’ll schedule additional meetings to get to know your Seeker better—exploring their strengths, interests, needs, and personal goals. We’ll also assist families with ESA enrollment, discuss required supplies and technology, and share any important updates as we prepare for the first day of school on August 25, 2025.

We look forward to welcoming new Seekers and their families into our community!

Tuition & Plans

As we launch A Mind of Magic and Reason, we are offering a full-time schedule with optional supplemental add-ons to enhance each child’s learning experience. As our community grows, we plan to expand our offerings to provide even more flexibility for families.

Each Seeker will also have a curriculum fee, which varies based on the chosen curriculum from our carefully curated menu of options.

💡 All tuition and fees are ESA-eligible.
